Woman sought for stealing $12,100 from bank account.

Preventing Identity TheftPHOENIX – Authorities are working to locate a woman in her mid-to-late 30s who is suspected of stealing thousands of dollars from a bank account at two Arizona banks.

Silent Witness said a woman used a compromised California driver’s license to withdraw a total of $12,100 from a 52-year-old woman’s account on two occasions, according to Silent Witness. The woman was also able to open an account at Nordstrom’s and charged over $4,000.

The incidents took place on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Wells Fargo near Guadalupe and Alma School Road in Mesa, Ariz., on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the Wells Fargo near Thomas and 59th Avenue in Phoenix., and Thursday, Feb. 21 at the Nordstrom’s near Camelback and Goldwater in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Silent Witness is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the woman suspected in this case.

The suspect is described as a white female, in her mid-to-late 30s, average height and weight, and having short brown hair.
