Every day we hear about identity theft and how it affects lives, so it is nice to have options locally to protect ourselves.Summer does not only mean BBQ’s and summer fun but also SecurShred Shred Events.  These events take place in Vermont, New Hampshire and New York.

On July 20th, 2013 SecurShred and New England Federal Credit Union teamed up to host a Shredding and E-Cycling event at the NEFCU location in Williston, Vermont. Our Shredding Professionals shredded and recycled 20,000 lbs of paper, destroyed and recycled over 300 hard drives, and recycled over 200 laptops and desktop computers.

These shred events are very important, not only to protect the identity of our community, but to also remove toxic computers from our waste stream.
