Host a Shred Event and Be the Hero of Your Community
One of the things we look forward to each year is connecting with the communities we serve with our Shred and eCycle Events. We roll in our trucks to a local bank, business or community center parking lot and offer “shredding on the spot.” A portion of proceeds help local non-profits.
What makes a successful event?
- Get the word out! Many use Social Media to give dates and times for the event.
- Press – send press releases to your local news or radio stations
- Volunteers – make sure you have a team to take care of community members. We’ll help coordinate your efforts
- Fun – SecurShred’s team will take care of the boxes of papers, files and eCycled items, you take care of having fun with the team.
