SecurShred continues to monitor the diesel fuel price while managing its truck routing,  no idling policy, and truck maintenance programs that reduce its carbon footprint.  On January 1, 2011, SecurShred started to implement a fuel surcharge due to increasing diesel fuel rates in Vermont.  Since that time, we have tried our best to reduce our carbon footprint by increasing the efficiency of our routes.  Certain customers may see an adjustment to their fuel surcharge based upon their proximity to our facility.  

SecurShred has not increased its service rates in over 5 years and hopes to minimally impact our customers with this additional cost.  The diesel fuel price will continue to be monitored and will be removed, as it has been in the past, if the price of diesel fuel decreases.
